Job Summary and Description

Provides business or administrative recommendations inside and outside the College or District on Work Study processes and people that will be used to make decisions. Provides direct services to customers or collaborates with other professionals by one or more of the following: Personally assesses situations, obtaining necessary information, drawing conclusions and recommending and/or implementing courses of action in accord with normal practices and procedures. Advises or training other professionals. Helps organize the activities and output of fellow workers on a day-to-day basis as a working supervisor or work leader.
Reports to the District Human Resources Department.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, public administration, business management or a related field OR a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
  • Three years of experience in coordinating, managing or leading college/business programs or initiatives, human resource management or a combination of relevant experiences.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Five years of relevant experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must have a valid driver license and be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
  • Prefer PHR, SPHR or grants certification.

Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
