Salary
Salary Range: $39,924 - $48,649 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours per Week
Exempt Position: 40 hours per week.

Essential Functions
Provides outstanding professional level customer service to prospective, current, or former employees and retirees related to benefits and leave administration. Responsible for providing timely and accurate information to inquiries.
Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree (60 college hours) from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of professional employee benefit administration experience.
• Experience with Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
• Excellent customer focused verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and analytical skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in work and documentation.
• Ability to identify process improvements and to recommend and implement efficient solutions.
• Ability to prioritize work to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to self-manage work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient with HRIS and benefit systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• HRCI-PHR, SHRM-CP, or other relevant certifications.
• Experience in higher education.
• Experience in knowledge of UT System group benefits.
• Experience with PeopleSoft and the PeopleSoft Benefits Administration Module and Absence Management Module.

Working Conditions

• Work Modality: Hybrid-Occasionally. Primarily works remotely, but may work on campus on an infrequent basis (approximately four days or less per month). Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
• Occasional travel outside of local area may be required.
