The Director of Administration reports directly to, serves as a delegate for, and advises the Dean on matters of compliance and operational issues with the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and the College of Business Administration. This position provides oversight and directs the School's operations; serves as a strategic advisor to the Dean, Associate Deans, and senior staff; manages highly visible and complex projects for the Dean; handles internal and external relations; and works with the Dean to implement strategic budgeting and model the financial implications of proposed initiatives.
Business Operations responsibilities include providing oversight and leadership of the School's finance, human resources, payroll, facilities functions, information technology, faculty operations, and administrative support. As a strategic advisor, the director provides counsel and advice in the development, integration, and implementation of the School's and departments' strategic goals and initiatives. As project manager for the Dean, the director of administration will manage both Dean's Office and Schoolwide projects, collaborating with the Dean to develop project objectives and manage projects to completion.
Directs the budgeting process and oversees the analysis and review of financial information. Leads team and establishes the direction, goals, and implementation strategy of the department. Formulates, implements, and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Collaborates with key stakeholders and evaluates success of department.

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
