Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, The Recruiting Coordinator will manage the recruiting operations and back-office support for the Provost Centers. Assigned to specific client groups, the Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with and liaise to hiring managers and constituents throughout the Provost Center for, but not limited to, creating and maintaining requisitions in Workday, job postings, scheduling interviews, offer administration and hiring proposal, and background checks and on-boarding as part of the recruiting operations for the TA team. The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral part of the Workday function and operations of TA and will serve as a point of contact for staff and hiring manager inquiries, as well as support data management and related TA reports, metrics and compliance.
The Recruiting Coordinator will assist in the redaction of all identifying information related to an applicant's resume using Adobe Pro and keeping track of diversity metrics for all open positions. The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for updating and refining processes within Smartsheets and Excel and have an eye for process improvements and creating efficiencies. They will be the main line of communication for all staff supported by the Provost Administrative Affairs.
Job Description
Duties:
Ensure all Workday actions are reviewed and completed timely
Work with talent acquisition specialists to move candidates through the entire recruitment process within Workday
Assist in the monitoring and adjudication of background checks
Streamline processes within Smartsheets and update job requisition tracker as needed
Create reports and assist in projects related to open jobs, time to fill, diversity of candidate pool, and other relative data
Redact all identifying information on applicants' resumes in congruence with the Diversity Hiring Initiative
Update talent acquisition specialist with diversity metrics of applicant pools for all open requisitions
Primary customer service contact for applicants, HR Liaisons, Hiring Managers and other staff across the University
Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
Work in conjunction with advertising company to post positions on external career sites
Assist Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist in the review of qualified candidates for open job requisitions as needed. Manage small requisition load of administrative positions.
Support the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED required; BA/BS preferred.
3 to 5 years of high-volume recruitment and/or staffing operations and HR administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Strong reporting, data management, and recruitment operations experience including proficiency in Smartsheets, Excel and Adobe Pro highly desired.
Proficiency with the Office Suite products.
Prior Workday experience or related experience with the applicant tracking systems.
Passion for a high level of customer service, strong written and oral communication skills, organization, and keen technology skills.
Prior University HR/Recruiting experience desired.
