Senior Manager of Mobile Product Information Management

Responsibilities
• Lead a team of analysts responsible for product item setup, enhancement, and classification.
• Provide support to the team in addressing ad hoc requests for product data adjustments or corrections.
• Collaborate with the Digital Asset Management Manager to rectify product image issues, as necessary.
• Establish processes, documentation, and training programs for new PIM Team analysts.
• Drive the continuous enhancement of our Product Information Management (PIM) data model by automating processes and optimizing workflows where feasible.
• Establish and uphold data quality standards, offering guidance and feedback to users to ensure adherence.
• Develop formulas for intricate data conversions and attribute/hierarchy mapping.
• Facilitate the introduction of new sales channels and phase out outdated ones as required.
• Design and refine Excel templates to facilitate data collection for users.
• Aid business units in uploading extensive sets of product data into inRiver.
• Support the onboarding process for new business units and ERP/DAM integrations.
• Design and implement PIM systems that enable efficient and effective product information management across various channels and platforms.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify and address product information management requirements.
• Work in tandem with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, Digital Asset Management, and Product Management, to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and currency of product information.
• Enable the enhancement of our product content to a best-in-class standard through reporting, insights, multivariate testing, etc.
• Develop processes to fulfill data requirements, including generating reports, conducting audits, and performing data transformations.
• Coordinate with Taxonomists to integrate data elements into new schemas established by the PIM Taxonomist.
• Stay updated on evolving retailer requirements and inRiver feature updates, communicating them to the PIM team and brand stakeholders as necessary.
• Define and document PIM processes to facilitate rapid understanding by any PIM team member.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to devise strategies for implementing new capabilities.
Requirements
• Proficiency in creating and managing data models, workflows, tasks, formulas, channels, mapping, transformation, and process documentation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PIM management, architecture, and implementation, or a similar role.
• At least 2 years of experience in team management.
• Thorough understanding of PIM concepts, principles, and best practices.
• Deep knowledge of data management systems and architectures, encompassing data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with users to gather data, resolve issues, and foster effective relationships across the organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, queries, lookups, data validations, etc.).
• Excellent technical documentation skills, catering to both technical and business users.
• Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in supporting PIM users.
• E-commerce experience (1P and/or 3P).
