Other Conditions: First review of applications to begin February 23, 2024. Annually renewable subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability, to begin March 2024. Position may be eligible for increase in FTE upon availability of funds.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for curriculum development and evaluation in medical undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate and continuing education.
• Teach medical students, graduate students, post-graduate residents, fellows, and faculty.
• Conduct and /or promote research and scholarship.
• Evaluate and manage medical patients, maintain a clinical learning environment.
• May serve as Co-Associate Program Director, Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship.
• Other scholarly duties as assigned.

• MD/DO degree or equivalent medical degree from a medical or osteopathic school of recognized standing by date of hire.
• Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, (Board eligible/certified in Cardiology/Cardiovascular Disease) and recertification when appropriate by date of hire.
• Valid Hawai‘i medical license by date of hire.
• Demonstrated ability in teaching and patient care.
• Evidence of effective research, scholarly activity, or medical education administration is required.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
• Familiar with ACGME requirements.
• Eligible for an appointment in good standing with the Queen’s Medical Center.

• Demonstrated experience with curriculum development and evaluation.
• Familiarity with LCME requirements and Continuing Medical Education.
