JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Paid Social Media Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, tracking and optimizing paid social media campaigns for our owned as well as influencer channel to achieve our company's marketing and business objectives. You will work closely with the external agencies, teams, and other stakeholders to create compelling paid social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across various social media platforms.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the internal social media team and social media agencies to develop paid social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Identify target audiences and select appropriate social media platforms for advertising.
  • Plan, create, and manage paid social media advertising campaigns across platforms like Meta, Twitter, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and others.
  • Set campaign objectives, budgets, and schedules.
  • Create and optimize ad creatives, copy, and landing pages to maximize campaign performance.
  • Monitor and adjust/optimize campaign performance metrics and budgets, targeting, and ad placements to ensure optimal ROI.
  • Implement and maintain conversion tracking to measure the impact of advertising efforts on website traffic, leads, and sales.
  • Implement A/B testing to refine ad elements and improve performance.
  • Conduct audience research to define and refine audience segments.
  • Use audience targeting tools and data to reach the most relevant audience for each campaign.
  • Stay informed about competitors' social media advertising strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all ad campaigns comply with platform policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with influencers to execute influencer marketing campaigns as part of the paid strategy.
  • Create native advertising content when needed to seamlessly integrate paid content into the organic social media feed.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to assess the success of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage the allocated budget for paid social media advertising effectively.
  • Ensure cost-effective strategies are in place to achieve desired results.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in social media algorithms.
  • Share insights and recommendations with the team to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with the creative team to develop ad creatives that align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Perform all tasks independently and proactively take ownership of projects and reports to ensure their successful completion and timely delivery.
  • Weekly, monthly, and annual reporting.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.


COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications include:
  • Practical knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)
  • Ability to work seamlessly across multiple levels, demonstrating flexibility in working simultaneously across global and local projects that span various cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience using social media analytical tools and presenting insights.
  • A strategic and analytical thinker that can interpret numbers and data into actionable insights and learnings.
  • Team player who confidently develops strong relationships with internal and external contacts, but can successfully work independently.
  • Goal-oriented and positive attitude
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Experience in a similar position.


EXPERIENCE:

Outlined below are the academic qualifications and length and type of experience deemed necessary by Unique Vacations Inc. in order to perform the role of Paid Social Media Specialist competently.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, data analytics or a related field

Experience: Must have 2 years of paid social media experience. Agency experience is a plus. Experience in running Meta Ads, X, Pinterest, TikTok, and LinkedIn Ads campaigns. Analytical thinking and data processing skills. Knowledge of current trends and news related to Paid Social advertising. Understanding of the operation of the Paid Social channel from the business & substantive side. Experience using social media analytical tools and presenting insights. Focus on innovation and implementation of new solutions.
