Marketing SpecialistSummary: Creates marketing campaigns and strategies of projects assigned to the Media & Communication Department. They are the responsible party for not only creating a campaign, but also follow-through from the time the campaign is an idea, the market research, execution, modifications, and the results study, by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)Receives, requests & meets with clients that need campaigns, and sets marketing campaign objectives and parameters.Reviews materials and information presented by the client and discusses various production factors to determine the most desirable presentation concept.Plans and formulates aspects of research and development proposals such as objective or purpose of project applications that can be utilized from the research, costs of the project, equipment, and human resource requirements.Determines and develops audience profile.Meets each marketing channel team to present campaign, preliminary requests, & strategize/brainstormContent plan based on campaign branding/messaging/strategy and schedules the promotion of the campaign.Reviews and analyzes proposals submitted to determine if benefits derived and possible applications to justify expenditures.Approves and submits proposals considered feasible to management for consideration and allocation of funds or allocates funds from department budget.Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring projects, such as preparation of records of expenditures and research findings, progress reports, and staff conferences, in order to informManagement of the current status of each project.Receive Proposals per creative team & send approvals.Develops messaging, branding, and style and presents to the client for final approval.Finalize Content Plan & Scheduling based on a brainstorming meetingPresents Final Budget to the client for ApprovalCreates a timeline & action plan for the campaignSends Deliverable Request to parties involvedReceives proposals per creative team & send approvalsCoordinates that all art, copy materials, and videos are developed by staff, are being submitted in agreed time to the necessary distribution channels, publishers, advertisement companies, or other companies involved in projects, in order for the campaign to run on as planned.Measures Results: Study Analytics & Tweak Advertisement efforts as neededTracks industry trends, relevant legislation, and competitor activities.Develops the strategic branded message & copy for all areas of the campaign.Creates reports & analyzes results of all projectsQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
