Underdog.io is a modern recruiting platform. One of our hiring partners is looking to hire a Business Development Representative (BDR). In this role, you'll work on identifying business opportunities, forging relationships with potential clients, and driving growth for the company's suite of products and services. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, display leadership capabilities, and be eager to connect and establish fruitful partnerships as the company consistently seeks to expand its market reach and revenue streams.
The company is looking to hire someone with (1) a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, (2) substantial experience in business development or a related sales field, and (3) a robust understanding of market analysis, lead generation strategies, and sales funnel management. The ideal candidate should also have hands-on experience with CRM tools, presenting product pitches, nurturing client relationships, and/or strategizing sales campaigns.
On a typical day, you will (1) source and qualify potential leads, (2) participate in or lead meetings to understand client needs and propose solutions, (3) critically review and update sales pitches to ensure alignment with company offerings and market demands, (4) update and maintain records in the CRM, considering interactions, feedback, or changes in client status, and (5) collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize strategies and close deals.
The company leverages state-of-the-art sales tools and platforms, including Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and various communication tools, to name a few.
