HR Generalist 2904
Seeking an HR Generalist
Hour: M-F 8 am-5 pm
Indio, Ca
Pay: $24.00 -$30.00 per hour
Prepare paperwork and schedules to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
Coordinate with different departments to provide an outstanding first-day experience.
Manage all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews.
Data entry into human resources information systems (HRIS) and conducting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Offer a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees. This service covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
Be the primary backup for payroll processing, which includes updating employee files, processing bonus/incentive pay, managing vacation/sick pay and expense reimbursements, validating hourly employee records, and processing benefits changes.
Assist in communicating, interpreting, and maintaining the employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart. Also, contribute to policy development.
Assist with employee relations, benefits, onboarding/off-boarding, heavy recruitment, and scheudling
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or a related field.
- 5 years of proven success in working in an HR department.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft software.
- Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment.
