Job summary:
Our laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our multidisciplinary research team within the Department of Radiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Our translational research focuses on the development of preclinical biomedical cancer models (including mouse and pig models) and utilization of these models for the discovery of novel therapeutics and diagnostics. The postdoctoral Researcher will work with Principal Investigators Dr. Lobna Elkhadragy and Dr. Ron Gaba on an NIH-funded grant focused on the development of liver cancer models with varying metabolic profiles. This project includes cell culture and animal experiments, and will employ cutting edge technologies including CRISPR gene editing. The ideal candidates must be self-motivated and have strong ambition and skills to advance projects to the highest level.
