The Tai laboratory is seeking a very hard working and highly motivated postdoc towork on project(s) focused on aging and Alzheimer’s disease. Research in the laboratoryis focused on understanding on how risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease (e.g., APOE4,aging, sex) modulate pathogenic process (cerebrovascular function,neuroinflammation peripheral inflammation) to disrupt neuronal function andbehavior. Excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to work in a dynamic laboratoryfocused on translational research using in vivo (mice) and in vitro models.
Desired experience/skills include:
An in-depth knowledge of neurodegenerative diseases.
In vivo (mice) and in vitro experimental models of neurodegeneration.
Preclinical compound assessment.
Taking an active lead on research projects.
Manuscript preparation.
