UHY LLP is Hiring a Financial Planning Analyst Near Troy, MI
A great UHY client is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel experience, an accounting or finance degree, and some prior FPA experience.
The Financial Planning Analyst role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.
Financial Planning Analyst Key Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance or related field
- 1 -2 years of accounting/finance experience, in a business environment
- Advanced excel skills
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to create excel spreadsheets and perform financial analysis
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to problem solve
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data
Financial Planning Analyst Qualifications & Requirements:
- Financial planning and analysis
- Prepare and analyze sales reports
- Assist with the development of forecasts and budgets
- Various adhoc analysis as required
- Diplomatic interaction with Sr. Staff, Controller and CFO to support all financial areas
- Administer claims, refunds, and adjustments related to Balance Sheet management
- Assist with month-end close processes
