Data Analyst – Financial Engineering

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst for Financial Engineering is responsible for coordination and management of the program / project / platform financial engineering input system in the area of BCM and RFHM modules. In this role you will be working with next generation technology intended to monitor and control a wide variety of car body , security and convenience functions .
Our engineer ing organization is responsible for design ing , develop ing , and validat ing advanced systems to enhance vehicle safety and comfort. Main functionalities of the ECUs are related to networking, diagnostics monitoring , internal and external l ighting control , m otor control drivers for mirrors, wiper, windows, seat position, locks, radio frequency management and passive entry.
Your Role:

• Coordinate engineering financial data input s in collaboration with engineering, sales and finance team

• Support data revision associated to pursuit and change management opportunities

• Manage budget related inputs and review in coordination with global team leadership

• Establish a data management and control format to align dynamic needs of global engineering team

• Manage complex data sets by designing reports / managing links between different tools outputs

• Develop and deliver analytic products using analytics reports

• Provide solutions to ensure engineering efficiency and high quality of deliverables

• Provide financial reports related to budget compliance of program / project / platform team including chang es requests and estimates the required resources updates

• Monitor program financial and status report and metrics to Engineering Director

Your Background:

• Bachelors of Science in a Technical Discipline ( data science, electrical, systems, computer science, software, or related field of study)

• 5 years of full life cycle automotive electronics experience

• 2 years of automation/scripting experience – Excel , financial/budget management tool

• Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenge

• Cross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven. Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity

• Ability to effectively manage several projects at once

• Strong soft skills: skilled networking creation, influencing skills, constantly learning, positive and ownership profile

• Experience in exploring analyzing massive / complex datasets and providing data-driven / quantitative problem-solving approach

Additional Background Preferences:

• Master’s degree in a Technical Discipline

• 10 years of experience in body and security, connectivity, infotainment, driver information, and/or telematics systems.

• Experience with Excel Macro, Access , SAP/Fieldglass, financial and budget management tools .

• Experience with Jira, Confluence and collaboration tools
