UCLA Intercollegiate Athletics is Hiring an Executive Assistant to Women’s Basketball Near Los Angeles, CA

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Executive Assistant to Women’s Basketball. This is a contract, full-time position with a targeted salary of $71,500.00/year with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan. Provide professional executive level management for the Women's Basketball Head Coach ("Head Coach") and Women's Basketball program as a whole. Exercise independent judgment and leadership. Supervise the flow of information, manage projects, manage the internal operations of the Head Coach's Office, facilitate communication to and from the Head Coach's Office, and perform analysis of complex issues to facilitate management of the total organization by the Coach. Organize staff meetings, information sessions, and trainings. All tasks will be completed following the policies and procedures set forth by the department, University, state, Conference, and NCAA. The position will serve as a member of the department's Senior Staff and perform other duties and events as assigned by and in conjunction with the Athletics Executive Team and Women's Basketball Sport Administrator(s).
All applicants should demonstrate the following abilities/qualifications: Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion; Excellent administrative and organizational and communication skills required; Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities and tasks in a fast paced environment; strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently as well as within diverse teams and environments, while treating everyone with respect; knowledge of budget control methods, policies, and procedures; must be able to overcome obstacles with cooperation among team members, build consensus, and foster harmonious relations; knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook; Ability to work with customized databases and technology and to conduct internet research; proven ability to multitask and process data quickly with a high level of accuracy.
