Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Executive Assistant (DTM) with a Current/Active Top-Secret Clearance to support TGS and our government customer in Arlington, VA.

Tuknik Government Services currently has an opening for an Executive Assistant (EA) to provide executive level office management and support for the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO). Under the direction of the government, the Executive Assistant will provide administrative management and support for office operations to executive-level, management, and key technical personnel across the Digital Talent Management Office. This will include being eyes and ears for the executive, ensuring critical functions are highlighted to the executive, keeping the executive on time, and other clerical functions: keep calendars, arranging travel, keeping the executive on time, arranging meetings, ensuring read ahead material is available, etc. The candidate will be the executive assistant support for the Digital Talent Management Office located in the Arlington, VA office.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring critical functions/actions are highlighted to the executive, keeping the executive on time.
  • Support the program management staff in the preparation of deliverables, internal reports, briefings, and drawings associated with the project being supported.
  • Proactively begin working Actions and getting the tasks farmed out to the Executive’s team.
  • Performs clerical functions such as preparing correspondence and reports, handling information requests, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, arranging, and coordinating travel, scheduling meetings, facilities management, and monitoring physical security.
  • Coordinates/communicates behalf of the organization’s leadership, including calls, responding to email, and interfacing, with stakeholders or their staff at all levels.
  • Provide comprehensive support services for daily operations in areas of normal administrative service functions to include action suspense tracking, workload prioritization, calendar maintenance, communications, correspondence and distribution services, reporting, procurement of administrative supplies, property administration, security management, as well as travel (requires familiarity with the use of the Defense Travel System) and transportation, directives, and training.
  • Manages all actions from start to finish. Acts as shepherd to all actions and monitors progress as they are completed. Ensures final package is in proper format and complete.
  • Ensure daily read-ahead book items and summary of meetings is completed in Teams the day before.
  • Proactively reaches out to other related organizations to ensure all activities are on the executive’s calendar, with a planning window of 6 months.
  • Responsible for managing the quality of correspondence provided to the Government Senior Executive Leadership’s review.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • 5 years of relevant experience to include 2 years of experience directly supporting and Senior Executive; and 2 years of office administration.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.
  • Experience preparing staff packages for the official DoD staffing and coordination process.
  • Ability to use CATMS or similar action tracking software to manage, update, and track staff actions.
  • Experience performing Action Officer duties (Implementing and managing Agency engagement plans and strategies)
  • Experience using the Defense Travel System.
  • Must be a self-starter that can recognize needs and act with little to no guidance.
  • Able to rapidly understand and apply new concepts.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
  • Advanced MS Word skills; proficient PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook application skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • To be considered, must have a CURRENT/ACTIVE TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
