Position: Executive Assistant
Location: Arlington, VA (on-site work required)

· Salary: $73,000
Clearance: current Department of Homeland Security clearance preferred
Description:
This position supports the Dept. of Homeland Security in Arlington, VA providing a variety of tasks in support of Front Office operations. The ideal candidate for this role must have strong oral and written communications skills, ability to develop and maintain a filing system and task tracker, produce and distribute correspondence, and provide quality customer service.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field
· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office required
· Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience required
· Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities at once
· Must possess strong interpersonal communications and teamwork skills
· Strong writing skills
· Enjoys a team-oriented environment, but able to function independently
· Takes ownership of projects and can prioritize assignments
Duties:
· Demonstrate strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
· Must have keen attention to detail and ability to develop correspondence, emails and letters for senior government leaders
· Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
· Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports and handling information requests
· Performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings
· Provide administrative support to monitor, track responses, and draft content for taskers both through CATT and internally in the organization
