***This is a hybrid role to be located in Charlotte, NC. Not a remote role due to sensitivity. ****Assists in administration of all facets of the Corporation's long term incentive equity stock plans to include communications, granting, exercises, releases and termination of all equity awards for executives, teammates and Directors.
Performs daily, monthly, and annual reconciliations between payroll transactions and general ledger accounts for Executive Compensation payments such as equity-related transactions, contract payments, AIP payments and Director payments.
Maintains the data integrity of the stock administration system and periodically validates the accuracy of database information, including all insider data, teammate data, tax withholding rates, and award information.
Assist with the administration of the Corporate Director compensation programs, including payment processing and reconciliations. Assist with the administration of the Corporate Annual Incentive Plan program, to include accruals, budgeting and the payment process.
Assist with the administration of employment agreements and executive severance arrangements; ensure severance payments and benefits are processed in accordance with the arrangements.
Provides broad-based analytical support to the team for administering the annual incentive plan program and equity program.
Works closely with key stakeholders of Executive Compensation to include Payroll, Accounts Payable, Legal, Audit and program participants.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3 years of professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience using principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Human Resources discipline.
Ability to solve problems by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents.
Ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward manner as appropriate for the intended audience.
Analytical experience working with Excel, Access or other databases. Intermediate skills in MS Office software.
Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of experience as a compensation or benefits professional.
Project management experience.
Experience working with HRIS systems.
Knowledge and understanding of accounting and financial concepts, especially as they relate to compensation and benefits including tax and accounting treatment, SEC regulations and filings, proxy disclosures, Internal Revenue Code Section 409A.
