True Grit Hospitality is Hiring a HR Manager Near Beach, FL

JOB OVERVIEW

Join one of the fastest growing hospitality teams in South Florida! At True Grit Hospitality, we create a fun and vibrant atmosphere for our guests through unique design choices and carefully crafted dishes and cocktails. In all our concerts, we strive to create the very best working environments for our Team through enriched culture and training.

Currently, we are seeking a Team Resource Manager to be part of our corporate team in West Palm Beach. This person will have a strong understanding of Human Resources, with a focus in Employee Relations. This person must possess the ability to successfully implement policies and procedures that will benefit the company’s overall growth and enhance the company’s relationship with it’s employees. Previous experience on restaurant HR is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall vision of ownership

· Manage employee relations, including handling employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management

· Manager employee reviews and raise timelines

· Manage all Workers Comp and General Liability claims; follow up with employees and ensure compliance

· Manage payroll deductions including benefits, 401K, child support, uniform, and other

· Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

· Ensure onboarding compliance of i9s, W4s, Company documents and legal forms

· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures

· Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters

· Manage employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision insurance, 401K, etc), including enrollment and open enrollment, changes, and terminations

· Preform ACA audit yearly and ensure compliance

· Audit monthly insurance invoices

· Conduct training sessions on HR topics for managers and employees

· Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and events

· Assist General Managers and Area Directors in payroll and offer payroll support (Experience with Toast Payroll preferred)

· Preform new Manager onboarding and ensure a warm and inviting orientation; ensure all new Managers are fully set up on company platforms and are able to access company technology resources

· Notary

Job requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or proven experience as an HR manager or similar role, preferably in a Hospitality/Restaurant related environment

· In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws specifically Florida

· Experience in ACA set-up and compliance

· Strong data collection and analysis skills

· Strong ability to use Microsoft Office with a focus in Excel

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Change management experience is a plus

· Valid Driver’s License

· Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for more than 4 hours
