Job Duties
Set up and monitor clinic entrance, signs/instructions and screening supplies.
Monitor the clinic entrance throughout the day. Greet patients and visitors in a pleasant, welcoming and professional manner. Be pleasant and courteous at all times. Visitors may include patients, other King County employees, contractors and/or members of the general public seeking services or information.
Complete established COVID-19 screening questions and perform temperature checks with every visitor over the age of 2 who will be entering the clinic. Report any abnormalities to clinic staff for instructions and seek guidance before allowing guest(s) to enter the clinic.
Interact effectively and positively with patients, co-workers, and external clients at all times.
Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with internal and/or external customers.
Greet patients and visitors professionally and direct patient appropriately to receive services.
Follow all site-based infection control procedures.
Offer a mask, if applicable, to all patients and visitors over the age of 2 yrs old.
Don and Doff PPE as required within the protocol for performing medical screening.
Monitor the occupancy of the waiting room and control the flow of patient traffic.
Wipe down and disinfect high touch areas at the designated intervals.
Notify supervisor of any concerns, safety issues or urgent matters. Coordinate with supervisor regarding protocols or procedure questions.
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
Possess the ability to consistently provide superior customer service and exhibit an exceptional work ethic.
Work independently and problem solve; know when to ask for help or guidance.
Ability to wear a mask and face shield for the majority of the shift.
Ability to sit/stand throughout the shift.
High school graduate diploma or G.E.D
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
