Trintech is Hiring a Sales Compensation Analyst Near Plano, TX

The Sales Compensation Analyst will provide comprehensive sales operations support related to sales compensation. You will be responsible for supporting the sales compensation planning and distribution function, with additional day to day focus on analysis of transactions related to compensation issues or questions.

As a Sales Compensation Analyst, you will work cross-functionally with several organizations (including Sales leadership, Partner Operations, Finance, Order Management, HR, Accounting and Legal), with the primary objective of supporting sales with guidance on sales compensation policies and questions related to sales crediting at the transaction level. The Sales Compensation Analyst acts as the subject matter expert on opportunity data in support of the sales commission process. The ideal candidate will be highly data driven, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects with limited direction and supervision.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improving sales effectiveness.
  • Design, implement, and manage sales compensation plans that align with company objectives and drive desired sales behaviors.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and HR teams to ensure compensation plans are competitive, fair, and compliant with company policies and budgetary constraints.
  • Run a monthly process to review transactions in support of the sales commissions process.
  • Understand opportunity data model and related objects within salesforce.com to be able to analyze gaps and provide guidance to Sales Operations and Sales teams.
  • Be a key contact and resource for the sales team regarding policy and process of sales crediting as it applies to specific transactions.
  • Format and upload data to the sales compensation tool on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Provide expertise and support to sales leadership and individual sales representatives on compensation-related matters, including plan mechanics, quotas, and payouts.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of compensation data to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of compensation plans.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key sales compensation metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales compensation and make recommendations for improving compensation plans as needed.
  • Maintain strict levels of confidentiality.
  • Ad hoc projects to support company initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a quantitative sales operation’s role in an enterprise software (SaaS) company.
  • 3 years of experience in a sales compensation operations environment a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales compensation analysis, design, and administration.
  • Must have experience with quota and compensation plan distribution and management.
  • Must have experience in SFDC.
  • Experience with sales performance management software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of sales performance metrics, incentive structures, and sales compensation best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, human resources, or a related field.
  • In-Office requirement 3 days per week.
