Medical Scheduler | Tulsa, OK

$16-$18 per hour | FT | Temp to Hire

Responsibilities:

Maintains efficient patient flow

Assists with patient care, i.e., exams, procedures, and patient education.

Performs miscellaneous clinic support tasks including filing, answering phones, and maintaining physician schedules.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical office administration or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a scheduler in a medical clinic or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, and insurance authorization processes.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex scheduling and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Proficient in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA regulations, and follow clinic policies and procedures.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
