The primary scheduler for the Behavioral Health Department.

• Maintains schedules of behavioral health providers, schedules clients, blocks schedule for meetings, PTO, etc.
• Answers phone and responds to patients questions or need to reschedule.
• Checks messages from phone regularly.
• Schedules various types of behavioral health appointments.
• Monitors office supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness of receptions and waiting areas.
• Communicates with behavioral health and medical staff when patient misses appointment to established services.
• Assists Office Manager when needed.
• Reviews schedules to ensure accuracy.
• Fills in to assist patients completing new patient paperwork, as needed.
• Attempts to de-escalate upset patients and contacts security if appropriate.
• Appropriately directs patients who report being in crisis.
• Sets up and updates scheduling blocks.
• Completes other tasks as assigned.
