Responsibilities

• Makes and schedules appointment for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient andtimely manner.
• Verifies and pre-certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures.
• Coordinates day surgeries within main surgery department. Maintain productivity logs for department director.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 2 – 3 years medical office experience 
• Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical scheduling
