Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources/Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Human Resources/Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by supporting our employees and promoting a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of background screening, drug & alcohol program management, and onboarding new employees
- Ensuring all insurance documents are accurate and up to date, coordinating with insurance providers, and assisting employees with insurance-related inquiries
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Work with managements activities such as scheduling, attendance tracking, and leave management
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Utilize HRIS systems, Quickbooks Payroll, and other software to manage employee data, payroll, and benefits administration
- Provide guidance and support to employees on various HR-related matters
- Assist with employee evaluations and performance management processes
Skills:
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and ability to ensure compliance in the workplace
- Experience in workforce management activities such as scheduling and leave management
- Ability to schedule & maintain employee training programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of change management principles and ability to support organizational changes effectively
- Familiarity with Quickbooks Payroll, HRIS systems for managing employee data, payroll, and benefits administration
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
