General Responsibilities:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning HR objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees, reflecting the organization’s business objectives. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business, able to engage with business leaders, apply effective HR practices to drive employee retention, and deliver value-added HR programs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
· Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience in oil and gas.
· Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) a plus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to pass pre-employment background check & physical and drug screen.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Environmental Conditions
Most of the work is done in an office environment. Occasionally outdoor activities will be required as part of the role, including yard tours and job site visits.
