POSITION PURPOSE:

With the oversight of the VP, Business Development, the Business Development Representative is responsible for creating and implementing a strategic marketing plan in their assigned region. They are responsible for marketing all programs in an assigned territory. This includes face to face meetings with health care providers, attending networking events in their region, hosting dinners, lunches, and special events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Accountable for leading a WE CARE culture that focuses on our mission to provide a transformational influence to patients and their loved ones.
  • A Business Development Representative is responsible for organizing and facilitating professional tours of all programs.
  • Develops and implements regional strategies that supports the overall Strategic Business Development Plan 
  • Develops and maintains referral relationships 
  • Consistently achieves designated admissions per month
  • Consistently inputs activities and pertinent account information into CRM 
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with internal team members 
  • Consistently maintains a minimum of 20 face to face meetings per week 
  • Develops and maintains exceptional knowledge of all programs 
  • Delivers accurate and timely weekly and quarterly reports 
  • Actively participates in team calls and meetings and offers potential solutions to obstacles incurred

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or higher preferred

EXPERIENCE: Strong selling skills (2 – 3 years sales experience), Healthcare experience a plus

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, FUNCTION COMPETENCIES REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Professionally represents organization.
  • Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the discipline. 
  • Adheres to the Association For Ambulatory Behavioral Healthcare Code of Ethics. 
  • Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills. 
  • Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.
