Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field. Minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in accounting field required. Sage Intacct accounting software experience and/or non-profit experience preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities/Principal Activities:

• Manages accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries and general ledger.
• Oversees payroll process including tax reports, payments, benefits, and garnishments.
• Assists with development of agency processes.
• Verifies account balances to ensure stability and performs bank reconciliations and any necessary follow up.
• Generates invoices for processing and collections.
• Assists in the creation of monthly financial reports.
• Generates allocation updates and program reports, distribute to appropriate staff.
• Allocation of shared expenses.
• Works with the CPA to maintain timely reports.
• Completes the quarterly 941 and SUTA reports, as well as any other federal, state, or funding source required financial documents if requested.
• Presents materials and information as needed for audits and assists with any related questions.
• Performs end of fiscal year closing requirements.
• Generates and distributes annual W-2 and 1099 information.
• Ensure that we conform to CARF standards applicable to the services provided.
• Other duties and/or tasks as assigned.
