We have an immediate opening for a Flowback Operations Manager in Midland, TX. You will need to live in the Midland/Odessa or relocate prior to starting. Job Summary:

You will oversee, provide, and inspire leadership for the flowback operations over our organization’s Flowback division. You will be involved in making important policy and strategic decisions, and the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. Must be highly experienced in Flowback operations and field operations. You will be the expert in Flowback for our company and employees. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains staff.

· Oversees the schedules and responsibilities of staff in the department.

· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. 

· May handle or assist with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
  • Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
  • Understands flowback pricing, flowback customers, and flowback operations.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Work with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the executive management to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations, customers, and vendors.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.
  • Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues.
  • Responsible for all department supervisors, employees, and contractors, with review/ approval responsibility of all flowback operations employees.
  • Run a safe, injury/ accident-free workplace.
  • Establish contracts and pricing and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
  • Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels.
  • Work with Sales, Procurement, and Finance on pricing, procurement, and budgeting.
  • Review and approve all flowback operations invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.
  • Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site.
  • Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma. Bachelor’s degree in business or operations management preferred, or equivalent work experience in flowback operations.
  • 5 years of experience in management, operations, and leadership.
  • 5 years of experience in Flowback Operations with expertise in pricing, customers, vendors, managing employees/contractors, costs, and all aspects of Operations and Sales for Flowback.
  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, market conditions, compliance, operations, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills including but not limited to communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to multi-task, find solutions and establish priorities.
  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
  • Strong management, delegation, planning and leadership skills.
  • Valid and clean driver license.
  • Solid understanding of Flowback and Flowback Sales.
  • Solid understanding of financial management
  • Staff recruitment for full-time, part-time, and contractors.

Physical Requirements: 

  • · Must be able to travel and have a valid driver's license.
  • · Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • · Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
