Overview

Titan Security Group is looking for a Director of Operations to join our team! Job Summary: 

The Director of Operations reports to the CEO and is primarily responsible for overseeing operational support functions including scheduling, field supervision, and dispatch. Additionally, the Director of Operations will work directly with Portfolio/Operations Managers and the HR department to ensure Titan provides “Best-In-Class service” to our clients and our staff.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operational excellence and development of the Scheduling, Field Supervision and Dispatch departments including hosting weekly staff meetings
  • Works with VP of Operations to set key metrics and goals to assess performance of Scheduling, Field Supervision and Dispatch departments
  • Oversees annual review process for all Scheduling, Field Supervision and Dispatch staff
  • Monitors the quality of staff performance including review of disciplinary actions, recommendations for suspension or termination as well as ensuring a regular performance appraisal program for all staff
  • Coordinates and documents performance tracking of all staff personnel
  • Maintain and ensure the integrity of personnel files and workforce management systems working with Account Managers and HR department, as necessary
  • Supports Account Managers and HR department in review of involuntary terminations including coordinating and conducting exit interviews, assisting with unemployment claims, union grievances and appeals
  • Supports Account Managers and HR in hiring, training and on-boarding
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to all staff and job applicants
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities and account trends
  • Responsible for tracking company equipment in the field including technology, vehicles, etc. and ensuring company equipment is utilized in accordance with applicable policies
  • Stays current on federal, state and local CBA guidelines relative our services
  • Supports the organization’s culture, processes, practices and systems to ensure that all employees are given the opportunity to contribute to the business goals of the company and its clients
  • Prepare correspondence and memos as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Bachelors Degree preferred. 2-5 years of management experience working in the security services industry with a large remote hourly workforce. Must have a working knowledge of security services operational functions.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Abilityto obtain a valid PERC.

Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Other Qualifications: Required skills include excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills and ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Experience with workforce management systems and scheduling systems preferred. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Demands: Standard office environment.

Salary & Benefits: Base salary to be determined based on experience plus discretionary year-end bonus, paid vacation and personal days, medical insurance, dental insurance, life and AD&D insurance, optional life andAD&D insurance, paid holidays, and 401(k) match.
