Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Electrical Contrator in the Bay Area on their search for a Business Development Manager with a minimum 5 years experience.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for account management activities, including overseeing and managing client relationships, pipeline management, and closing contracts.

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all responsibilities of a Sales Representative including but not limited to the following:

• Drive sales through the growth of existing clients
• Generate new business opportunities
• Develop new relationships within the industrial construction community
• Attend tradeshows, conferences, and customer related events, as required
• Prepare cost estimates and submit proposals to customers
• Stay up-to-date with economic changes, economic policies, and overall market health

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction estimating, supervision, and/or project management
• Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience
• Must possess excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, with ability to produce highly professional proposals and presentations.
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
• Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
• Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
• Noise level is typically low to medium; it can be loud on a job site.
• Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
