Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you'll lead a dynamic team of Sales and Marketing professionals, leveraging your deep understanding of IT to craft and execute innovative strategies that propel us to new heights. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives, Account Executives, Solutions Managers, and Sales Support Representatives and our Marketing team harnessing your IT expertise to guide their success.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • [CP1] [BT2] Collaborate closely with the COO and stakeholders to set ambitious sales objectives and initiatives tailored to the IT industry.
  • Oversee the creation and review of project proposals, contracts, and agreements to ensure accuracy and alignment with client needs and organizational capabilities.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the business development team, providing constructive feedback, setting goals, and identifying opportunities for professional development.
  • Take a leading role in client interactions, leveraging your IT knowledge and charisma to secure deals and enhance Louisville Geek's reputation.
  • Forge strategic partnerships and alliances within the IT industry, amplifying our presence and influence.
  • Cultivate strong client and vendor relationships, ensuring Louisville Geek remains a trusted partner in the IT realm.
  • Spearhead IT-focused sales and marketing campaigns that capture attention and drive engagement.
  • Stay abreast of IT trends and competitor activities, seizing opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making, analyzing IT-specific sales metrics to optimize strategies.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, and marketing with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience, preferably within the IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) or related industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing successful IT specific revenue growth strategies.

  • Strong analytical mind and strategic-thinking abilities.
