Therapeutics is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Ann Arbor, MI

Therapeutics is an innovative opioid recovery treatment facility with the vision of enabling clients to live happy, stable lives and return to being productive members of their communities. Primary functions:

  • Working with Counselors and Medical staff to schedule clients for individual and group activities.
  • Works closely with the provider and leadership to continually improve the client experience though daily client care, clerical support, ongoing projects and assumes additional duties as needed in a self-directed manner.
  • Prepares the client for the visit by taking vital signs and documenting client concerns.
  • May support a variety of clerical office functions including calls, documentation, scanning, etc.
  • Within scope of Medical Assistant, demonstrates clinical knowledge and focuses on client care. Records complete and accurate messages and obtains necessary instructions from Doctors, NP, nurses and others as needed.
  • Collaborates with leadership and other staff to recommend changes to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of client care.
  • Supporting efforts to ensure clients maintain scheduled appointments.
  • Coordinate Medication Assisted Treatment for a County Jail client, which includes scheduling and medication delivery.
  • Assembling charts for Doctors and Physician Assistants and ensuring that all signatures are received, and charts are updated.
  • On a scheduled basis, performing administrative duties, which includes welcoming clients in a friendly and professional manner and introducing them to our services.
  • Provides follow-up calls, and check-in calls for individuals in recovery as a form of additional support.
  • Coordinates and provides access to individual and family supports, including referral to community social supports
  • Meets regularly with OHH care team to plan care and discuss cases, and exchanges appropriate information with team members in an informal manner as part of the daily routine of the clinic
  • Identifies community resources (i.e. social services, workshops, etc.) for patient to utilize to maximize wellness and recovery capital
  • Conducts referral tracking
  • Coordinates and provides access to chronic disease management including self- management support o Implements wellness and Prevention initiatives
  • Facilitates health education groups
  • Provides education on health conditions and strategies to implement care plan goals including both clinical and non-clinical needs
  • Supports clients with the operation of our Asendio Device that dispenses medication

Detailed frequent duties include:

  • Scheduling clients using cloud-based scheduling software and Excel
  • Performing front office administrative duties including answering phones, scanning, etc.
  • Preparing information for doctors
  • Preparation of billing transactions
  • Report creation and submission using Excel
  • Attending training provided by health organizations and insurance companies.

Qualifications:

  • MA/CNA certificate 3 years’ experience (preferred).
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of out client medical clinic operation preferred
  • Scheduling experience
  • Reliability is essential - ability to adhere to an early schedule on a consistent basis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidentiality is an absolute requirement.
  • Outstanding team player with tremendous flexibility
  • Strong people skills evidenced by the ability to manage demanding customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Weekends as needed
