The Waldinger Corporation is Hiring a Learning & Development Specialist Near Des Moines, IA

The Waldinger Corporation, a growing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal industry leader, is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist who has a passion for learning and development, leadership, and diversity & inclusion. They will be responsible for creating, implementing, and delivering corporate learning solutions for employees and managers.  Professional Skills:

  • Instructional Design – Lead learning projects through all phases including needs analysis, stakeholder management, design, development, delivery, and assessment. Utilize all types of delivery methods.
  • Facilitation - Presents engaging training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
  • Program/Change Management - develop and implement effective change management strategies which are aligned with organizational goals and needs assessments. Demonstrate strong communication and project planning skills. Help foster an environment that embraces company core values.
  • Workday Training Lead - Lead training efforts for Workday implementation including, training plan coordination, development, implementation, and facilitation. 
  • Leadership Development- support the implementation of leadership development programs, including competency models, assessments, and coaching.
  • Diversity, Equality, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB)- Support programs that foster an inclusive learning culture by coordinating Employee Resource Groups and potential development or delivery of learning activities.

Education / Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience, with a diverse portfolio of accomplishments
  • MS in Learning and Development or equivalent experience
  • Instructional design certification is a plus
  • Workday experience is a plus
