Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers. You will also provide excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
What you will be doing...
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
- Be a team player with a good attitude.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a high volume craft cocktail bar / restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of variation of classic cocktails, spirits, and wines
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, mixology, batching systems, etc
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
