A financial services firm in New York City is looking to add a new Paralegal to their growing Legal Ops team.
Responsibilities:
The Paralegal will be responsible for assisting the Legal Ops team with entity management and corporate transparency act projects, including:
- Distributions to counsel and portfolio companies
- Assisting with process and adapting procedure as required
- Reviewing fund structure and data
- Reviewing and validating entity formation, operations, structure and other documentation from the Outside Counsel
- Assisting with ongoing work
- 2 years experience as a Corporate Paralegal or similar role
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Investment Management Fund formation and structure experience
- Microsoft office Suite proficient (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
