The Rockhill Group, Inc. (TRG) is actively seeking a highly qualified Human Resource Generalist to become an integral part of our organization. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting our workforce through diverse HR functions, ensuring the seamless operation of HR processes, and actively contributing to the overall success of both our organization and our esteemed government customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Manage employee onboarding/offboarding processes
• Complete I-9/E-Verify for new hires and maintain I-9 records
• Prepare and complete regulatory reports
• Assist with or prepare HR correspondence including employment verifications, annual notices, forms, and procedures
• Respond to human resources-related inquiries
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters and assist in conflict resolution.
• Assist in CBA negotiations and any other union-related activities
• Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, annual open enrollment, payroll deductions, and any other benefit-related activity
• Stay informed about employment law changes and ensure organization is compliant
• Assist with team-building initiatives
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Assist Supervisor with various HR programs, research projects, and any other special projects
• Conduct recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
• Assist in the coordination of training and development programs
• Assist in developing compensation plans utilizing credible sources
• Stay informed about HR trends and best practices to enhance departmental effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Three years of experience in HR roles with a focus on generalist responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to pass a full background check

Desired Qualifications:

• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
• Union/CBA experience
• Knowledge of federal government contracting and DCAA compliance
