The Residence at Presque Isle Bay is looking for Occasional Part Time or Seasonal Caregivers for 2nd and 3rd Shift.

Essential Functions:

• Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude, demonstrates impeccable ethics and integrity.
• Helps the Residents get to and from activities, dining room or other locations as needed.
• Assists with or performs personal hygiene tasks - brush teeth, comb hair, shave, bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.
• Transfers, assists or lifts Residents from bed to chair, chair to commode, etc. as needed.
• Changes bed linens and towels per residence schedules and as needed.
• Launders Residents' personal laundry per schedule.
• Loads and pushes clean and soiled laundry carts.
• Performs daily housekeeping in Residents' rooms - straighten room, organize bedside tables and dressers, wipe spills, etc.
• Answers call lights promptly and responds to residents requests
• Serves Resident meals as needed.
• Reports any identified verbal or written changes in medical condition to supervisor.
• Measures and records temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, weight and height as instructed.
• Helps with scheduled activities and engaging residents to participate.
• Respects Residents’ rights, dignity and privacy

The ideal candidate would be self-motivated and independent, and wanting to grow in their career. We are willing to invest in someone, who has the right attitude and willingness to learn. We provide paid, on-the-job training starting on Day 1.
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize tasks, able to work independently and as a team, and must be okay with repetition and routine work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires punctuality, dependable transportation to and from work, and reliable attendance. Must pass background check, assessment, and drug test.

Pay: $15.60 per hour
