Job Summary:
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead and oversee our customer service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 40 customer service representatives across multiple locations, including outsourced/satellite offices and remote representatives working from home. As the Customer Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining excellent employee morale, ensuring exceptional customer service, and upholding company policies to meet our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a diverse team of customer service representatives, fostering a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, teamwork, and employee development.
  • Hiring and Training: Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process of new hires, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Performance Review: Regularly review and assess employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Daily Operations: Review daily reports on queue and employee performance to optimize workflows and address any operational challenges efficiently.
  • E-commerce Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of e-commerce practices, including order processing, payment methods, and shipping, to deliver exceptional customer experiences specific to online retail.
  • Call Center Experience: Demonstrate expertise in call center operations, utilizing best practices to manage call volume, handle escalations, and maintain service levels.
  • Customer-Centric Policies: Ensure that customer service policies are customer-friendly while aligning with the company overall business objectives.
  • Goal Achievement: Set clear performance targets for the team and work collaboratively to achieve or exceed them, continually driving improvements in customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Escalation Management: Handle customer escalations and challenging situations with
  • empathy and creative problem-solving, aiming for swift and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Innovative Thinking: Encourage and foster a culture of creativity. thinking among team members to continuously improve processes and elevate customer service.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales,
  • Marketing, and Operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences throughout the
  • entire customer journey.
