THE PARADE GROUP is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near New York City, NY
This role is based in the NYC area and requires this hire to come into our SoHo office 2x a week.
This role will report into our Director of Finance.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with daily operations of the accounting department including:
- Month and end-year process
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Cash receipts
- Sales taxes
- Dig into large amounts of data and come up with high level recommendations based on accounting practices and business strategy
What You’ll Bring:
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA Preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting
- Proven working experience as Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager for large firm
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly flexible individual, easily able to pivot
