As an Administrative Assistant II you will perform a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the Water Operation Groups: Integrated Operations Planning Services and Support, Water Treatment and Water Quality, Conveyance & Distribution. The position will report to our Union Station Headquarters location and may require occasional travel to other facilities.
You’ll be primarily responsible for supporting the Group Management personnel in assisting with various administrative functions including meeting/event management, purchasing, preparing reports and letters, assisting with spreadsheets, filing, etc.
Within this position, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your business office and administrative acumen, attention to detail, communication, customer service, and organizational/time management skills.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience: A high school diploma or high school certificate of equivalency and five years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and three years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and one year of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Administrative Assistant I classification.
Relevant Experience is defined as: administrative work experience
