PURPOSE

Responsible for handling all aspects of accounts receivable for The Matrix Companies and will provide an opportunity to become involved in general accounting functions of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interface with department leaders, client relations and business development personnel in order to perform: invoice preparation, integration of new client contracts into the AR process, cash application of receipts, AR collections.
• Assist in the monthly closing
• Prepare various analytics as needed
• Receipts, cash application, and accounts receivable collection process
• Operating expenses and process accounts payable transactions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates organizational, analytical and project management skills
• Positive attitude, energetic and team player mentality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including word, excel and outlook
• Associates’ degree in accounting or 2 years experience in a comparable role is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
