We are seeking to add an Outside Sales Executive to our team. The Outside Sales Executive will play a key role in the success of all industrial sales activities, from lead generation through close, in the Eastern Territory covering Eastern PA, Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. You will develop and implement an agreed upon Sales Plan which will meet the goal of expanding the customer base in the territory and cultivating current accounts. You will work within the Kish Company sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, profit creation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

· Effectively use technical selling skills and product knowledge of industrial minerals and their applications.

· Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and customers pertaining to the various solutions Kish offers to their business.

· Develop annual business plan in conjunction with Director of Sales and Marketing, which will focus on territory revenue and profit growth.

· Develop new business opportunities which support established long-range growth targets.

· Demonstrate a good understanding of customer pricing and proposal dynamics.

· Develop and maintain a CRM database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.

· Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up in CRM.

· Maintain contact with all clients in the region to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

· Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.

· Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all support departments.

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

· Five years of related experience.

· College degree preferred.

· Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time across Midwest region of the United States.

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.

· Intermediate personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools. Ability to learn industry-specific software.

· Strong core values and integrity.
