Human Resources Generalist

• Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), serves as his/her human resources business partner
• Manages the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, background checks, onboarding/orientation and termination
• Manages FMLA, Workers’ Compensation or other leave of absence requests and processes
• Administers accurate bi-weekly payroll process (including PTO tracking)
• In partnership with management team, develops and administers annual merit increase process including benchmarking, success metrics, performance reviews, market-based salary surveys, development plans for employees and total compensation statements
• Administers benefits program including annual review, open enrollment and acting as liaison between employees and external benefit providers
• Ensures job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
• Identifies, assesses and ameliorates employee relations issues in partnership with the COO, including enforcement of disciplinary policies
• Sets up and maintains employee personnel folders with all records in compliance with local, state and federation guidelines
• Ensures the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations, recommends best practices and performs regular review of policies and practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
