CUSTOMER SERVICE | Customer Service & Order Processing
The H.T. Hackney Company is a privately owned wholesale grocery distributor that has served customers for over 130 years and is a leader in the wholesale industry. We are looking for someone with an innate initiative, extreme attention to detail, and analytical and critical thinking skills to join our Greenville, SC, office as a customer service representative and order processor.
JOB DUTIES | What Exactly Will I Be Doing?
The customer service representative is responsible for handling general office tasks to improve operations and ensure the smooth functioning of the office, distribution, and customer service. Providing helpful and patient customer service is an essential part of this position. One of the primary responsibilities of the customer service representative is order processing. While processing orders, the office clerk will be responsible for managing daily incoming sales orders and analyzing and resolving order issues. The ability to multitask while processing is a must. This generally means calling customers to confirm their orders, entering information into our database, and sorting the orders as they print. Other general duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones, filing, and invoicing. We have many departments, and we cross-train almost all employees, so be ready to learn and expand your knowledge of the distribution and sales industry as we teach you our business with many opportunities for growth and advancement!
