The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years luxury upscale hotel/catering sales management, wedding, social and corporate banquet business. The candidate must be extremely organized, personable and enthusiastic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as creative and detail oriented.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Pursues all prospective sales opportunities with tactical sales plans and strategy.
• Understands and manages all aspects of the venue sales process as well as meeting revenue sales goals.
• Planning and detailing of sales process and oversight of entire function.
• Keep updated with current sales trends within market.
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships
• Represents themselves with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Requirements:

• Ideal candidate must possess extraordinary networking and client relation skills, as well as strong knowledge of local catering market (wedding, social and corporate) and client base.
• Work is performed in an office and venue environment that is very fast paced – requires the ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner, including the successful execution of all catering events.
• Delphi softwareexperience required.
• Expert with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible schedule – evenings and weekends a must based on business needs.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency with planning and execution.
• Superior knowledge of food, beverage and service etiquette.
