TITLE: EVENT AND CATERING SALES MANAGER
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF EVENTS & CATERING, CEO
FLSA: EXEMPT
POSITION SUMMARY: The Event and Catering Sales Manager targets, coordinates and oversees our offsite catering and events programs throughout One Off Hospitality. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop existing business and solicit new catering and events business through lead generation. This person will report directly to the Director of Events & Catering.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintains a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean and professional image
- Oversees and runs our office events and catering programs throughout all concepts within One Off Hospitality
- Responds to inbound leads and solicits new customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques (emphasis on corporate outreach)
- Drafts proposals via Tripleseat
- Collects payment for all catering and events services
- Maintains open and efficient communication channels with restaurant team and chefs
- Schedules and facilitates deliveries for catering services
- Keeps track of sales and key performance indicators (KPI’s) - including monthly sales goals
- Helps hourly team members pack, deliver, staff, and execute orders and events, when needed
- Creates programming for “Virtual Experiences” throughout One Off Hospitality (ex: meal kits with Chef demo’s)
- Updates catering collateral and collaborates with Marketing team
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary
- Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictates
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- Minimum of 3-4 years in an event or catering sales role
- Previous management experience preferred
- Illinois Manager Food Sanitation Certification required
- Illinois Allergen Certification required
- BASSET Certification required
- ServSafe Certification required
- Ability to handle stress under pressure
- Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Triple Seat is a plus
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to be flexible with job demands and open minded when being asked to complete tasks
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant
- Ability to move or handle equipment throughout the restaurant generally weighing 0-50 pounds
- Ability to work varied hours/days and location as business dictates
- Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours a day
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
