Last Call Tavern Group is Hiring a Sales/Event Manager Near Chicago, IL

Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Sales & Event Manager at Last Call Tavern Group located in Chicago, IL. The Sales & Event Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events such as happy hours, private events, etc. They will manage a guest database, develop event concepts, and coordinate with marketing and social media teams in order to promote the events and drive attendance. The Sales & Event Manager will also be the point of contact for customers and will provide excellent customer service throughout the event planning process.

Qualifications

  • Preferred but not required Experience with event production software and proficiency google sheets
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends as needed for events
  • Looking for employees who are motivated and enjoy the hospitality industry

Duties:

  • Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless event
  • Negotiate contracts with venues and service providers
  • Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Provide exceptional guest services and handle inquiries or concerns promptly
  • Oversee catering arrangements and menu selections
  • Upsell event services and packages to maximize revenue
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their event requirements

Skills

  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent guest service skills to ensure a positive experience for attendee
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation and vendor management
  • Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Experience in events management with a focus on detail-oriented planning
  • Familiarity with catering operations and menu planning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
