Responsibilities include:
Generating new catering leads
Cultivating existing relationships to build repeat events
Overseeing the coordination between Sales & operations
Managing inquiries and proposal deadlines
Developing new client and venue relationships
Forecasting sales and providing recommendations for future opportunities
Managing deposits and final payments for all events
Ability to take ownership of tasks
Leading by example in a fast-paced environment
Participating in weekend/evening event coverage
Candidates must possess the following attributes:
Detail-oriented, well organized
Committed to the highest level of guest service
Negotiation skills, excellent customer service skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Performance and growth driven
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
Qualifications required:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry; off-premise catering experience is a MUST
Food & Beverage knowledge regarding seasonality and menu building
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Catering and Floorplan Creation Software knowledge is a plus
Caterease Software is a plus
Food Handler's and BASSET certifications required before start date
This is a salaried position. Commissions based plus a base salary. We offer health benefits, vacation time and sick time. Daily lunch. 24/7 beverage and snack bar. Free parking.
