We are seeking a(n) Senior Technician for Dollywood Resorts who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while caring deeply about our brand.

The right Senior Technician checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.

Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assist the supervisor and managers with Leading, guiding and/or training of other craftsmen with in the trade represented ensuring applicable procedures and techniques are being followed.
  • Develops plans such as scoping out jobs in order to obtain materials and resources needed to meet production of work orders and request.
  • Prepare written reports and or material requests.
  • Is responsible for overseeing material inventory maintain the inventory and organization of the inventory.
  • Assists in the development and carryout of daily tasks, assignments, along with communicating with internal hosts and management on work order status and any crew related situations.
  • Monitors quality, completion and accountability for the Facilities Maintenance team being represented.
  • Ensures all work conforms to all applicable rules, regulations and codes.
  • Assist with the tracking of the park’s infrastructure and with winter work projects.

Education and Experience Required

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of Four (4) years’ craft level experience with demonstrated servant leadership skills including motivating, coaching, counseling, and providing positive feedback while tasking the crew on daily task.
  • Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Successful completion of post-employment offer background check and drug screen.
  • Valid driver’s license and state required auto insurance.
  • Knowledge of all applicable codes, standards, regulations and or park building requirements
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance for use of Company vehicles.
  • If currently employed by the Dollywood Company, must also be in good standing with current team.

  • Must show appreciation of others.

  • Able to comprehend instructions and retain information.
  • Able to perform duties consistent with creating a safe and secure environment for hosts and guests.

  • Able to communicate effectively using standard English grammar and punctuation.
  • Able to tolerate various temperatures while working outdoors.
  • Able to operate/drive a company vehicle with valid TN driver’s license and insurance.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Able to work comfortably at heights up to 60 feet. 
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
